Macerator pumps use a blade to decrease the size of waste particles and can be permanently mounted. These pumps were originated to work as part of the plumbing structure for RVs and boats. The pumps can be installed by the owners of such vehicles if using the correct electrical safety procedures; and can be installed in less than 10 minutes.
The pump liberates the user of the necessity of having to use gravity in association with emptying the holding tank. This process means that the black-water (water associated with toilets in RVs and boats) can be gotten rid of whether it’s above or below tank holding level. It becomes the user’s choice if the waste goes up or down into your pumps. The inlet port’s 1 ½ inch hose barb together with a 1 ½ inch male thread, twists directly onto the tanks flange. For RVs, a 3 inch hose can be accepted on the inlet port.
The Macerator Pump V12 runs on the battery of the vehicle and has a self-priming flexible impeller with run dry protection. The wear plate is stain-less steel. It works whether the vehicle is on or off. This pump can empty a 30 gallon tank in 3 minutes, which in turn prevents accidental messes during removal with its splash proof design. There are 4 heavy-duty blades with a 12 gpm flow rate that grinds waste to about 1/8” or less. It is equipped with fish box and livewell evacuation. The V12 excellent quality motor now has a seamless shell and o-ring shaft seal in the rear.
Waste can be transferred from a holding tank to a main holding tank with this pump. It also decreases the amount of water required to flush the toilet. There is little care or maintenance required for the Macerator Pump V12. Just as in all toilets, do not flush any foreign objects down the bowl; this could cause clogging.
